FUNCTION ROOMS

ENTRANCE HALL

A large welcoming room where, in winter, visitors are greeted by the sight of a log fire burning in the grate. Suitable for receiving guests, or as a function room in its own right. Also contains a grand piano.

CHAPEL

In Edwardian days a banqueting room, but since 1947 this panelled room with views of the garden has been a consecrated chapel. The room may be used for worship or as a function room seating up to 120.

DINING ROOM

A beautifully proportioned panelled room normally seating up to 36 at circular tables of 6. Extra tables can be provided by arrangement to seat up to 60. French windows open onto the lawn, where a marquee can be erected for larger functions.

BLUE SITTING ROOM

An elegant, sunny room with bay window looking onto the historic cedar tree. Can seat up to 20 in comfortable sofas and easy chairs.

GREEN SITTING ROOM

Another comfortable room overlooking the garden, seating up to 15 in easy chairs and sofas.

LIBRARY

A panelled and book lined room seating up to 8 at a large table.

INNER LIBRARY

A similar sized, book lined room, with views of the garden and seating at a central table plus sofa and easy chairs.

There are two shower rooms, one with toilet and hand basin on the ground floor, while on the first floor there is one shower room with toilet and hand basin, and a toilet with hand basin.
