Many companies and church groups find St. Katharine’s is the ideal place to ‘get away from it all’.  Whether you are organising a small group, just requiring a quiet room for the day, or a conference needing a large hall plus breakout rooms and accommodation for some of your delegates, St. Katharine’s will provide the perfect venue at a reasonable price.  We can cater for a wide diversity of ethnic and dietary requirements and our professional catering staff will tailor meals to suit your needs.

Retreat, Mini-Break, Group Holiday?

If you are staying at St. Katharine’s your activities may be based in and around the house, but you can also use us as a base for exploring the Chilterns and surrounding area.  Come as an individual or group, full board or on a bed and breakfast basis.  We can also provide packed lunches.

As an ecumenical, non-denominational retreat house, St. Katharine’s has been providing basic retreat accommodation for many years.  However, since refurbishment we have been able to re-create more of the graciousness of the original country house, but with modern amenities – the majority of bedrooms now have full ensuite facilities, and if you can’t bear to leave the modern world behind, the house has wi-fi internet access. 

Make your stay even more relaxing by booking a treatment. Debbie Lawrence, a Holistic Therapist who has a clinic in Marlow, can be booked for therapy sessions at St. Katharine’s.  These include Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Full Body Massage, Hopi Ear Candling and Reiki Healing.  For more information click here

St. Joseph’s, our annexe which sleeps up to 12 people, has been upgraded, but provides more basic accommodation with a communal lounge.  Ideal for small groups looking for a base for activity holidays in the area.

WEDDINGS & FUNCTIONS

St. Katharine’s provides a perfect backdrop for wedding receptions, with accommodation for guests who are coming from further afield.  120 guests can be seated in the banqueting hall and a marquee can be erected in the grounds for larger numbers.
