A unique venue for retreats, seminars, celebrations and accommodation in a tranquil rural setting, within easy reach of London.
This historic house stands in 10 acres of grounds in an area of great scenic beauty and abundant wildlife.
Following on from our successful Lent Reflections Quiet Day on Ash Wednesday, we have arranged opportunities for some quiet time through Holy Week. Obviously, we can’t hold the Quiet Days we intended but we will have these online – a little like we did for our Lent Reflections that so many people accessed and found helpful.
Please follow this link – Holy Week Quiet Days (with a difference) – for a little more detail.
These aren’t Quiet Days in the traditional sense. We recognise that so many people are a little ‘Zoomed out’ so we have formatted each day around a 3-hour Quiet Time – and these will be held 3 times each day, hoping that amongst your day you will be able to join with one of them. The timings for each day are the same and we would suggest logging in just a few minutes before the particular sessions you wish to be a part of (the link will be open 15 minutes beforehand) – there is no requirement to ‘register or book in’.
The first Quiet Time will start at 9:30am. This will then be re-run at 1:30pm and then again at 6:30pm.
Please can we encourage you to make an intentional decision to take just 3 hours out each day with us.
Clicking on the link below will take you to all of these and other Retreats and Quiet Days we are planning.
What we offer
Whether you want to come by yourself or as a group, for a few hours or a whole week, we offer a range of possibilities.
It has been a challenge to decide what to do as far as events for the early part of this year. The couple we did look at have been postponed until there is some certainty around restrictions lifting.
We are running 3 Quiet Days in Holy Week. These will be online and more details can be found on our Events page.
Please click on the picture opposite for more details.
Please contact the office to book on to one or more of these.
Booking forms and further information can be obtained by contacting the office.
This programme does not prevent parishes, staff teams, individuals etc from booking retreats and quiet days as previously.
If you would like to know more about St Katharine’s, the Sue Ryder Prayer Fellowship, any upcoming events or have any other enquiries, don’t hesitate to ask.
