In Care for Creation, we will spend some time reflecting on our place in God’s creation and our response to the current environmental crisis.
Through prayer, quiet times, reflection and sacrament we will offer ourselves to God to be part of the solution.
This retreat will start with Lunch on Wednesday 29th, and finish around 4:30pm on Thursday 30th March.

Leader: Reverend Canon Liz Jackson
Having served in inner city churches in Lincoln and Coventry and having worked with people who are homeless and people seeking sanctuary and asylum, I set up a charity aimed at supporting those who fell through the cracks. The charity offers accessible skills development, work experience and accredited training for people with significant barriers in accessing ‘regular provision’. The charity I set up works with many thousands of people each year and through a supportive community helps them to find their place in society and begin to live independently.
In Berkshire, I have established a project teaching English online to newly arrived people (many from Hong Kong and Ukraine) working with volunteer tutors. We currently have over 600 students registered and over 40 volunteers.
I am a Third order Franciscan and love all creation.
