Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/General Assistant to join our small but hard-working team at St Katharine’s Retreat House. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, welcoming, and peaceful environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle various tasks to support the smooth operation of the retreat house. Previous experience is not essential as training will be given, but a good sense of humour will always be beneficial.

St Katharine’s Parmoor is a Christian House of Retreat and Prayer situated just outside the village of Frieth. It is a haven for quiet reflection for people of all faiths and none providing a venue for retreats, quiet days and other gatherings.
The house was originally the home of the Sisters of St Katharine and later given to Sue Ryder to be used for it’s current role.
Being a Christian is not an occupational requirement for this role but we would expect the successful applicant to be sympathetic and supportive to the Christian ethos of the house.
